BREAKFAST AND LUNCH PROVIDED COMPLIMENTS OF REMINGTON VERNICK

Course Objectives:
This course offers an overview of cybersecurity, homeland security, and operator regulatory updates.
1) Cybersecurity: This session will address current cyber threats, tactics, and best practices. Participants will learn about the latest cybersecurity challenges and how to mitigate them. The session will also include information on promoting cybersecurity awareness and partnering with various entities to reduce cyber risk.
2) Homeland Security: This session will focus on the "See Something, Say Something" initiative. It will emphasize the importance of public vigilance and reporting suspicious activities to enhance community safety. The session will also cover homeland security strategies and initiatives.
3) EN-Suite Updates: This session will provide updates from the NJDEP on the EN-Suite system. Participants will learn about the latest features, improvements, and regulatory changes related to the EN-Suite system.
4) Operator Licensing: This session will offer the latest information on NJDEP operator licensing requirements and procedures. It will introduce several technology updates, including an exam application service portal, an online form submission system (DEP-065), a web platform for viewing and registering for upcoming TCH courses, and a TCH import portal. Additionally, there will be an overview of the Licensed Operator Program and what’s new in the program. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions about anything related to exam applications and licensure.
Instructors:
Stanley Field: Cybersecurity Advisor at DHS, CISA, Region 2. Former CISO for Cumberland County, NJ, and Captain with the New Jersey State Police. Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Forensic Computer Examiner.
Krista Valenzuela: Bureau Chief of Cyber Threat Outreach & Partnerships at NJCCIC. Promotes cybersecurity best practices and partners with various entities to reduce cyber risk. Holds certifications in information security and leadership.
Antonio A. Gonzalez: Division Supervisor for Safety & Security at MetLife Stadium. Instructor on security procedures and currently serving as a State Critical Infrastructure Coordinator with NJOHSP.
Joe duRocher: Section Chief in the Bureau of Water System Engineering with 25 years of experience in the DEP’s drinking water program.
