In this course, we will explore the foundations of ethics, clarifying their meaning and application in professional practice. The session will guide participants in prioritizing parties with conflicting needs and reinforce ethical decision-making through case studies and interactive gameplay. By discussing real-world engineering failures linked to ethical lapses, we aim to highlight the critical role of ethics in safeguarding societal impacts and ensuring responsible engineering practices.

Danielle Farrell, PE - With over 20 years of experience in the water sector, Danielle Farrell brings a wealth of expertise and insight to her roles as an educator and consultant. She serves as an instructor at Rowan University’s Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering and as an in-house consultant at Mott MacDonald, leveraging her extensive knowledge to address complex challenges in the field of water management and infrastructure.
