Description:  Fire hydrants are important assets in the water distribution system and are important tools and protective devices at water and wastewater facilities.  Properly functioning hydrants are crucial to a utility’s operation. This course will provide in-depth instruction of all aspects of fire hydrants: uses; flow testing; flushing; inspections; maintenance; installation and testing.
