Descriptions
In the first of three technical modules, focal points will be evaluation of drinking water distribution and transmission mains, with a similar review for sanitary sewage collections and conveyance mains.
In the second module, workshop attendees will take a deep-dive into potential optimization techniques for distributed water quality - with an emphasis on maximizing service life of water mains and minimizing the classic nuisance aesthetic (taste and odor, discoloration) concerns of distributed water quality. A similar review will be given for minimizing corrosion and sewer gases in sewage collections systems.
Finally, the third module will give a survey of physical techniques and other industry best practices for rehabilitating buried water and sewer mains. The focus here will be practical and logistical, including timelines and construction costs.
