Course Description:
Discussion of pipeline asset management SIPP and pipeline maintenance that meets WQAA standards. Specifically, rehabilitation of water mains and potable pipelines using SIPP (Spray-In-Place-Pipe) technology. Discussions of tank asset management and maintaining all assets from the water treatment plant, distribution system (specifically water storage tanks and reservoirs), and the way to the wastewater plant. Considerations for inspection process of all assets.  Improving water quality within a distribution system and storage tanks including TTHM removal, active, and residual chlorine control systems. Brief overview of asset management aspects of the water system.

Nick Rapagnani: Nick serves as a Water System Consultant for utility Service Group Water Solutions.  He is responsible for water and wastewater systems in northern New Jersey and Pennsylvania to help them maintain their system infrastructure, water quality, and enact asset management maintenance programs.
