DESCRIPTION:Disinfection Alternatives for Water and Wastewater Applications - #04-041702-30 -(Middlesex County) \n\n11/19/25 08:30 AM EST\n - 11/19/25 12:00 PM EST\Description:\nCourse Description: \nThese presentations will provide an overview of the basics of chlorine handling and storage concerns and an overview of the various types of chlorine disinfection equipment.  During these discussions, ancillary equipment (analyzers, metering pumps, etc.) utilized in the feeding of the various types of chlorine will be reviewed as well.   All presentations will review equipment safety, equipment overview, typical maintenance and some helpful hints.\n\nInstructors: \nSal Adamo: Sal joined GP Jager Inc in June of 2009 as a manufacturer’s representative with primary responsibility as a Chem-Feed Equipment Specialist.  Sal spent most of his career working for Wallace & Tiernan (a leading water & wastewater equipment manufacturer) as a Design/Project engineer, Product Support Engineer and finally as their National Field Service Manager.  After leaving W&T, Sal became a partner with H2O Controls, Inc., Towaco, NJ, a light manufacturing and service company specializing in Wallace & Tiernan and chem-feed equipment and installations. Sal has an Associate’s Degree from DeVry Technical Institute in Electronics Technology. \nLou Finelli: Lou has 40 years of technical experience in disinfection and chemical feed design relative to the water and wastewater treatment markets.  Lou recently formed Elite Water Solutions USA LLC as an independent Agent for Solenis LLC.  Experience as the National Key Account Sales Manager, Municipal Water Division of Sigura (formerly Lonza). Former US Filter Northeast Regional Sales Manager.
